Ryan, a fourth-generation Montanan, grew up in Billings before attending Montana State University where he received a bachelor’s degree in economics and a minor in business administration, graduating with honors. Following his time at Montana State University, Ryan attended the University of Montana School of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctorate degree and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Public Land and Resources Law Review. After law school, Ryan remained in Missoula where he practiced at one of Montana’s premier firms with a focus on insurance defense. Ryan relocated to the Flathead Valley in the spring of 2024 to join Buckwalter Webb PLLC. Ryan is licensed to practice in Montana. His practice areas include all general litigation matters, personal injury, business and transactional law, real estate law, construction, estate planning, employment law, water law, and administrative law.

When not in the office, Ryan enjoys spending time snowboarding and splitboarding, river surfing, playing hockey, reading, and getting out on the water.
