Of Counsel
Daniel is licensed to practice in Montana and California. His practice areas include criminal defense, estate planning and personal injury litigation. He received double bachelor’s degrees in international economics and communication from the University of California at Davis and graduated with honors from law school with specializations in both criminal law and litigation. Daniel was a civilian contractor with the United States Coast Guard Pacific JAG Corps Office, assisting with criminal prosecutions at courts-martial and advising flag officers on maritime law enforcement policy. Prior to relocating to Montana in 2016, Daniel worked for two large civil litigation firms in San Francisco and Sacramento, focusing primarily on personal injury and product defects litigation. Daniel has worked as a staff attorney for the State of Montana Office of the Public Defender since 2017 and continues to do so, where he practices in all courts in Northwest Montana, representing indigent defendants in both misdemeanor and serious felony matters.
When he is not in court, Daniel is an adjunct professor of Criminal Justice at Flathead Community College, and he enjoys skiing, travel, college football, and hiking with his dogs.
